BACKYARD BABIES Complete Work On New CD

Sweden's BACKYARD BABIES have set "Stockholm Syndrome" as the title for their new album, due in Europe on November 5 through RCA/BMG Records.

The follow-up to 2001's "Making Enemies Is Good" was recorded at Stockholm's Polar studios and was mixed in Los Angeles with producer Joe Barresi (LIMP BIZKIT, BUCKCHERRY, QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE, MONSTER MAGNET, KYUSS). The video for the album's first single, "Minus Celsius", will be shot in L.A. on Tuesday (September 16) with director Dean Karr (DEFTONES, MUDVAYNE, QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE).

BACKYARD BABIES' last two efforts, "Making Enemies Is Good" and 1998's "Total 13", were both certified gold in Sweden for sales in excess of 30,000 copies.
